When our founder Kenneth opened our global flagship store in Kyoto in 2014, he had an ultimate goal to open stores in Paris and New York. His dream came true partially in 2019 by opening two stores in Paris, and now, in June 2021, his dream has come true fully with the opening of the US flagship store in Dumbo, New York.

For the store design, we collaborated with a French design studio, Cigue, who is known to design so many Aesop stores in France and UK. Kenneth is a huge fan of Cigue, and he chose to work with them for the US flagship store, which is a super important project for him.

Dumbo has many beautiful buildings with facades covered with orange bricks, so we used similar bricks in the store. Cigue designed beautiful tube lamp over the counter and also Chemex hanging lamps over the stool counter seats.

This store is equipped with 22kg Probat roasting machine as well as 1kg Tornado King roasting machine. We will offer custom roasting service which enables customers to select beans, roasting types, and we will roast to orders.

The shop has an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge and Lower Manhattan, so please come enjoy our simple delicious coffee. Our friendly and passionate baristas are waiting for your visit.
