The Forest Park Barking Lot Dog Park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit located behind The Overlook: Queens Department of Parks and Recreation at 80-30 Park Lane in Kew Gardens, NY. It was established in June 2015 through the collaboration of dedicated community volunteers, local officials, New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, and  Partnership for Parks. Volunteers continue to fundraise for improvements, support maintenance efforts, educate on the importance of responsible pet ownership, pet wellness, advocate for adoption and rescue and grow community support.
